HOW TO PROTECT YOUR HOME |

Your home is the place where you rest when the day is over, where you meet the people you love and where you spend most of your time. It is natural to try to keep it always in peace and harmony. Sometimes, the place where we live gets full of energy from the people that has inhabited it since it was built. If those forces around us are positive, good luck will tend to come to us. However, if we let strange currents flow into our home, we could find ourselves living in a nest of negative forces. It is really simple to keep those forces balanced and you will soon feel the results if you practice it often. A good balance of energy brings a decrease in family conflicts and more enjoyment.
How can I protect my home?
You will need the following elements: · A small clay pot · A handful of sand (you can also use earth, if it comes from a place near your home) · An agate
These are the steps to follow: · Place the pot somewhere in the room that you consider the centre of your home, which could be the kitchen table or a tray in the living room. · Gently pour some sand or earth in the pot. From this moment on, the pot has become a bed, ready to receive the agate. · Take the agate and place it on its new bed, whispering these words:
Rest on this bed, your peace will be my happiness.
· Cover the agate with more sand or earth and place the pot in a place where it can be seen, but not grabbed, such as on top of a wardrobe.
The elements involved in this spell will take care of us and our home. Unlike other spells, which mean some wear for the elements used in it, the agate used in this ritual hardly ever gets discharged, sin there are no violent forces running through it, but gentle ones. This way, the spell above can be performed as many times as you like. If you want to perform it again, just clean the stone and the pot thoroughly. Some books about magic describe home-protecting rituals that use candles. The spell that I have just shown is quite simple and it does not need the energy from fire that candles give. The energy from the sand will be enough in this case. Do not forget that the aim of this spell is bringing peace and harmony to your home, so more energetic elements would bring too unstable results.

Harmony spells take their energy from human relations, so they are more effective if the elements that take part are a gift, rather that a purchase. So even if you buy or make by yourself any of the used items, they have to be considered as an offer to your home’s harmony.
TIP: People from different cultures usually cover the agate with rice instead of earth or sand. The agate receives this way the fertility energy. As I always say, always use natural rice, not treated by chemicals, as long as possible.
