WHERE SHOULD I CAST MY MAGIC SPELLS? |

Magic spells make use of some forces that are usually free in Nature. Since we use powerful forces, we must do it carefully. This is why we should avoid casting magic spells in crowded places or at any place where we are unable to concentrate. Generally speaking, the right place for casting magic spells is where peace can be felt, so: · Decorated with harmonised colours. · Without strong smells. · Without appliances that emit electromagnetic fields. · Free from any other objects that distract our attention.
Maybe this last point is the most important one since many people tend to practice magic in the bedroom. If this is your case, you should take any portraits or any items that remind you of your relatives, to avoid strong emotions. It is true that many spells require to focus your attention on an object and drive our energy through it, but it is not advisable to use that object for anything else. For some people, that “focusing device” can be a religious icon, but this choice could bring the problem already mentioned of assigning two different functions for the same amulet, and so I tend not to do it.
It is a good idea to place the “focusing device” on a shiny tray or shelf, away from any other objects, since that place will be our personal altar, through which we will communicate with the forces of Nature.
Once we have chosen the right place for the “focusing device”, use a compass to know exactly its relative position from North. It is not necessary to place the focusing device on a specific spot of the room, but we must know where exactly it faces, since vital energy, which is the main creating force comes from East and it is a common mistake not to face it.
A lot has been said about the lighting to be chosen for the place where magic spells are performed. Everybody admits that artificial light is not suitable, But many people ignore that there not one single light that matches every spell. Some spells must be performed at night and some other need the power from daylight. As rule of thumb, if the spell does not need any specific conditions, the chosen light will allow us to see all the objects that we use, and we will be able to look at the light source comfortably. Candles are a good example of this.
Finally, remember that the forces that take part in magic spells are also part of every form of life and every object that we use has a kind of memory that retains information about every place it has gone through. This is why we should make sure that the objects around us haven’t suffered stressful situations that could have charged them with negative energy.
