· Wait until noon, when the sun is at its highest point and put the handkerchief extended on the floor and sit down in front of it, heading south.

· Spread a small handful of salt on the centre of the handkerchief, forming a circle.

Carefully take the white quartz and put it in the centre of the salt circle, while you say the following words.

White stone, Project me.

White stone, give me advice.

White stone, guide me.

After you say these words, wait for a few seconds and make a bundle with the handkerchief, the sand and the quartz. Tie the handkerchief firmly using the white thread so that the content keeps secured.

From this moment on, you must carry the bundle with you, at least for a week.

It could happen that the quartz gets slightly hot, when you are stressed. This is a good thing since it means that the spell is working, taking part of the pressure out of you. The quartz will feel the negative vibrations from any situation and will try harder to make you take the best choice.

Never let the quartz guide you blindly, but try listening to what it tells if you feel its influence.

After having used it for a week, you should take the quartz out of the bundle so that it receives the light from the stars at night, preferably any night without full moon. To do this, cut the thread using scissors and open the handkerchief permitting the quartz and the sand receive some fresh air, without touching the quartz. You must tie the bundle again before the sunrise since once the sunlight hits the quartz during the re-charging night, the elements get fatally damaged and you will have to use another quartz stone.
