VOODOO AND LOVE MAGIC |

Novels and movies have always told us that voodoo is a kind of witchcraft performed by some Caribbean people who came from Africa. However, many people ignore that voodoo is much more that black magic and obscure rituals. Voodoo’s power comes from its narrow links with the forces surrounding us. This can be a good thing or a bad one, only depending on the intention of the person who performs the rituals. Talking about love magic, voodoo can join people very tightly, making people feel old hidden feelings. I have come across many people who have been able to make a new love grow by using these techniques. The real danger is in trying to extend that new love far beyond what is reasonable, once the initial stage is over. I always advise not to use these spells since overusing this power is against natural universal balance and karma. Please, never forget that love magic is a beautiful art, ready to be used by those who want to improve everybody’s life, not only a few selfish people. When I mention this kind of rituals, I am not talking about the use of voodoo puppets that we all have seen on TV too many times. What I mean by voodoo is the connection with the forces that some people feel when they talk to family spirits. These spirits are often asked to help us join our soul to another one.
Voodoo is firmly linked to vital elements –water, air, fire and earth- and that’s why voodoo spells need amulets so much. These amulets form three groups: Animal amulets. These amulets contain vital energy from a specific animal which represents the power that we want to manage at that moment. Unlike what too many people believe, these voodoo amulets don’t need to be made of stuffed animal parts. They can consist of wooden figures depicting that animal or any other material impregnated with several essences. The Eagle pole is a typical example of this kind of amulet, which symbolizes the watch tower from which this bird looks after its territory and prevents us from eventual “family-life trouble” or any other unwanted event coming to our life. Vegetal amulets. These voodoo amulets take properties from some plants: rose, daisy, sunflower and tulip among others. Each plant and each flower has its own exclusive magical properties. Your amulet must be chosen depending on your personal target, but there some very common ones, such as the Batshamba laurel leaves, which help balance emotions and bring peace to couples. Mineral amulets. Voodoo amulets that are based on certain minerals have the accumulated power of thousands of centuries of underground confinement. They are perfect as protection amulets and they usually bring good luck to protect a love union. One of my favourite amulets is the Bengal Grey Stone. This talisman, which can be kept in any place at home, reflects the negative external influence and will bring order to your life.
